Seyi Vibez, whose real name is Oluwaloseyi Afolabi Balogun, was born on July 12th, 2000, to Mr. and Mrs. Balogun. His first name, Oluwaloseyi, originates from Yoruba and means “It is God who has done this.” Seyi, as he was affectionately called, spent his early years in a rented house in Ketu, a district in Mainland Lagos. When he turned ten, his family moved to Ikorodu, another densely populated district in Lagos State. Born to Yoruba parents, Seyi Vibez is native to Lagos State and is fluent in English, Yoruba, and Pidgin English.

From a young age, Seyi Vibez showed a deep appreciation for music, inspired by top Nigerian artists like P-Square, 2baba, D’banj, 9ice, and Olu Maintain. While in high school, he started making his own music and dreamt of one day becoming a superstar in the music industry.
