How Harrison Gwamnishu, Others Reacted After Akwa Ibom Police PPRO Wrote ‘Bail Is Free’

Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu, along with several other Nigerians, has reacted to a statement by ASP Timfon John, spokesperson for the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, reaffirming that bail remains free. The PPRO in a post on her official Facebook account on Wednesday, wrote: “Bail is free!!! Where there is no giver. There is no receiver.” Reacting to her post, Gwamnishu hits back, writing: “Where there is no threat, there is no GIVER.” One Emmy Wenzi tackled Ms John, saying he paid N50,000 to bail his brother. “Bail is free but I paid 50k to bail my brother who was arrested because he wore baggy Jean and was labeled a yahoo boy,” he wrote
