Who the Roles Are For
The university has listed strict requirements for each academic rank. Here’s a simple breakdown.
Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: 12 years minimum teaching and research in a university
- Publications: At least 20 journal articles in well-known journals (Scopus or similar)
Associate Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: 10 years or more at university level
- Publications: 18 journal papers in credible journals
Senior Lecturer
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience: 8 years or more
- Publications: 15 published works
Lecturer I
- Qualification:
- Ph.D. with 9 publications, or
- Master’s degree plus 10 publications and evidence of nearing Ph.D. completion
- Experience: At least 6 years in a teaching and research role
