Some members of the opposition coalition, Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, and Boss Mustapha have visited the graveside of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari. The key coalition members visited the graveside on Wednesday. Atiku, El-Rufai, and Mustapha were seen praying for the repose of Buhari’s soul at the graveside in Daura, Katsina State. Buhari, a former military Head of State and democratically elected President, died on Sunday in a clinic in London. On Tuesday, Buhari’s remains were brought back to Nigeria by Vice President Kashim Shettima and President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. Tinubu, alongside a high-powered delegation of the Nigerian government, had received the remains at the Katsina Airport. The body was immediately moved to Buhari’s residence in Daura, where he was finally buried amid full military honours. Prior to his London trip, Atiku, El-Rufai, and members of the opposition coalition had visited Buhari at his residence in Kaduna State.
