The Edo State College of Nursing Sciences (EDOCNS) has kicked off admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year. Applications are open to both male and female candidates across various nursing programmes.
Available Programmes and Requirements
1. ND Nursing (National Diploma)
To apply, you must:
- Have sat for the 2025 JAMB
- Hold at least five O’Level credits (English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in no more than two sittings
- Be 17 years or older by the time of application
- Awaiting results is not allowed
2. Post Basic Nursing and Midwifery
You’ll need:
- A valid RN or RM licence (depending on the track)
- Five O’Level credits as listed above
- For Post Basic Nursing, entry starts at ND II
- For Post Basic Midwifery, entry starts at HND I
3. Midwifery Refresher Course
To qualify:
- You must meet the same O’Level requirement as other programmes
- No professional licence is required, just the five science-based credits
4. Public Health Nursing
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid RN licence
- Also meet the same five-credit O’Level requirement

- Fill the form carefully
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,500
Note:
- Forms are not available in hard copy
