Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria has released its revised calendar for all NCE levels. Whether you’re in NCE I, II, or III, the schedule tells you when to register, attend classes, go on break, and sit your exams. It’s a long session, so keeping these dates handy will save you stress later.
First Semester Schedule (NCE I, II & III)
Teaching Practice
- NCE III: Monday, 21 October 2024 to Friday, 7 February 2025 (16 weeks)
Registration
- All students: 21 October to 1 November 2024 (2 weeks)
Lectures Before Break
- 11 November to 13 December 2024 (5 weeks)
Holiday Break
- Christmas and New Year: 14 December 2024 to 5 January 2025
Lectures Resume
- 6 January to 14 March 2025 (10 weeks)
Short Mid-Semester Break
- Includes Eid al-Fitr: 15 March to 6 April 2025
Exam Prep and Exams
- Prep period: 7 to 15 April 2025
- Exams: 16 to 25 April 2025 (3 weeks)
Labour Day on Thursday, 1 May 2025 will be observed
