The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, has opened applications for its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This programme is designed to help students get ready for 100-level entry into the university, mainly through JAMB.
If you’re aiming for a course in engineering or science at FUPRE, this might be your starting point.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply if you meet the following:
- You have at least five O’level credit passes, including English and subjects related to your preferred course
- You can apply even if your result is still pending
- All applicants must sit for a written entrance exam
If you get in, you’ll pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦25,000.
Note: Once you’re admitted and decide to withdraw, the school fee won’t be refunded.
Programme Duration
- Runs for one academic session
- Starts in September 2025 and ends August 2026
- Lectures begin Monday, 22 September 2025

Follow these steps carefully:
- Go to the FUPRE Sub-degree portal
- Pay the application fee of ₦10,000 online
- Fill out the form completely and submit before the deadline
