Hardship: Kids Were Packing Sand With Drops Of Rice To Take Home – Activist, Ibrahim Wala Recalls His Experience In Gombe Market

Nigerian activist, Ibrahim Garba Wala popularly known as IG Wala, has shared how worsening economic hardship is affecting families in Nigeria. He stated this in a Facebook post on Wednesday while recalling his experience at a market in Gombe. According to him, children packed sand with drops of rice to take home for family meals. “A touching post reminds me of my recent experience in Gombe market. “Children were packing the sand that consist of drops of rice taking it to their mothers for their family meal, due to hardship,” he wrote.
