Equipped with an avid thirst for knowledge and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Herbert continued to strive through his educational journey, earning in 1987 a bachelor’s degree in accountancy at the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The quest to expand himself in every aspect led him overseas for further studies, supported by a British Council scholarship he received in 1991 when he completed his Master of Arts in banking and finance at the University College of North Wales, now Bangor University.
