-

Not sure how to check your 2025 JAMB resit result? This guide shows you exactly what to do, step by step. Don’t miss anything important — read on and avoid simple mistakes.

How to Check Your 2025 JAMB Resit Result Without Fuss

JAMB has released the results of the rescheduled 2025 UTME for candidates affected by technical glitches in Lagos and the South-East. If you’re one of them, here’s what you need to know — no fancy words, no long talk, just what matters.

JAMB Clears the Air on Cancelled Results

First, a quick word on the noise flying around. Some claimed high scores from the cancelled sessions were being kept. JAMB shut that down. They said hardly anyone crossed 217. In fact, 99 out of 100 candidates scored below 200. So, if you heard stories about people keeping earlier high scores, forget it. It didn’t happen.

JAMB also warned about people trying to stir trouble, using fake claims to poke holes in the board’s process. Their words? Mischief-makers are just trying to mess with the system.

Checking Your 2025 UTME Resit Result: The Right Way

There are two ways to check your result. Choose whichever works best for you, but follow the steps exactly.

Option 1: Use SMS

This method works for most people and doesn’t need internet. Here’s how to go about it:

  1. Grab the phone you used to register for UTME.
  2. Send this text:
    UTMERESULT
Send it to 55019 or 66019.

Wait a bit. You’ll get a reply with your result as a text message.

What You Might Get in Response:

  • Wrong phone? You’ll see: “This phone number was not used for registration.”
  • You passed? The reply begins with: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows…”
  • Held result? Message says: “Result Withheld.”
  • Under review? You’ll see: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/documents required from you.”
  • Missed the exam? You’ll get: “CANDIDATE ABSENT.”
  • Registration cancelled? The reply will state that clearly.
  • Entered exam hall without permission? You’ll see: “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall.”

Keep your reply message. It might come in handy later.

Option 2: Use the JAMB Portal

If you’d rather go online, here’s what to do:

  1. Open a browser and go to the JAMB eFacility portal.
  2. Log in with the same email and password you used during registration.
  3. Once you’re in, click on “Check UTME Results.”

Your scores will pop up on the dashboard.
