Kwara State Polytechnic has started receiving applications for its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Both full-time and part-time study options are available across a wide range of departments. Applicants must select a specific option when applying.

Part-Time (Two Academic Sessions)

Courses offered are similar to the full-time list but taught on a flexible schedule.

Admission Requirements

To apply, candidates must meet these conditions:

• National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course with at least Lower Credit
• Five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics in no more than two sittings
• One year post-ND industrial training (IT)
• Candidates with a Pass in ND must show two years of IT experience

Special Cases:

• Only ND holders in specific fields can apply for some options, such as Post-Harvest Tech and Mining Engineering
• ND Mass Communication holders are not accepted into HND Public Administration
• ND Computer Engineering holders can’t apply for HND Electrical/Electronics or HND Computer Science
• ND Welding and Fabrication holders may apply for HND Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Option)

JAMB REGISTRATION:

All full-time applicants must enter their ND JAMB registration number. Without it, you won’t be considered.

Application Process

1. Go to the KWARAPOLY application portal
2. Select the HND programme type (Full-Time or Part-Time)
3. Complete the form carefully
4. Pay the ₦25,000 application fee via College Pay with your debit or prepaid card
5. Upload your ND result and O’Level result
6. Forward your ND transcript to:

Important Notes

• Awaiting result candidates are not eligible
• Names submitted during application cannot be changed later
• Part-Time HND graduates are not eligible for NYSC
• Application closes on Wednesday, 31st July 2025
