LASU Medical Screening for New Students 2025

New LASU students, don’t miss your medical screening. This quick guide tells you what you need to bring and where to go. Keep reading so you don’t get left behind.

LASU Medical Screening Ongoing for 2024/2025 Freshers

Since 3 March 2025, Lagos State University (LASU) has been running medical checks for new students at the Health Centre’s old building. These health screenings are not just a formality, they’re a key part of settling in at the university.

Yet, quite a few students haven’t shown up. No one knows why, but the turnout hasn’t been great.

If you’re one of the freshers who hasn’t done theirs, it’s time to act.

Where to Go and What to Bring

Head to the Outpatient Section of the old Health Centre building. The screenings happen every day. No booking needed, just walk in.

Here’s what you must come with:

  • Two recent passport photos
  • A copy of the medical screening payment receipt
  • Your own pen and paper

Simple, right? Still, leave the extra crowd behind. That means no parents, friends or past students are allowed in the screening area.

Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late

Skipping your medical checks could delay other parts of your registration. You don’t want that headache. Show up, get it done, and move on to the better parts of uni life.

Got questions? Ask the health staff when you get there. They’ll guide you.
