McPherson University (McU), located along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, is now accepting applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Both full-time and part-time options are available.

Available Programmes and Entry Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science

• A B.Sc. in any related course or an HND in Computer Science can qualify you.

M.Sc. in Computer Science

• You’ll need a B.Sc. in Computer Science with at least a Second Class Lower.
• If you have a Third Class, you must also hold a PGD in Computer Science or a related course.
• HND holders must present a PGD as well.
• NYSC completion or exemption is compulsory.

Ph.D. in Computer Science

• You must meet the MSc entry rules.
• A minimum of 60% average in MSc (from McU or another approved school) is required.
• M.Phil candidates who perform exceptionally by their third semester may switch to the PhD path if the department supports it.
• NYSC status must be cleared.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

To qualify, you need:

• Five O’Level credits, including English and Maths.
• A B.Sc. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Admin or related courses with Second Class Lower or better.
• An HND plus any of the following: PGD, ACA, ACCA, ANAN, ACMA, ACIT, AIB or ACIS.
• Bachelor’s in any other course with industry experience may also apply.
• Completion of NYSC is required.
• English proficiency is a must for international applicants.

M.Sc. in Accounting

Applicants must have:

• Five O’Level credits, including English, Maths, and either Accounting, Commerce or Economics.
• A B.Sc. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with Second Class Lower or above.
• NYSC must be completed or waived.
