PTI Effurun has opened applications for its 2025/2026 General Welding and Commercial Diving Certificate Programmes. The form costs ₦15,000 and can be completed online. Deadlines and screening details are inside.
The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, is now selling forms for its full-time Certificate Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested candidates can apply for either General Welding or Commercial Diving (Class I and II).
Available Programmes
- General Welding Certificate
- Commercial Diving Certificate (Class I and Class II)
Both courses run under PTI’s professional training wing and are open to candidates who meet basic requirements.
Application Fee
Each application form costs ₦15,000, non-refundable. If you miss the deadline, late applications attract a higher fee of ₦20,000.
How to Apply
Follow these steps carefully:
- Go to PTI’s website
- Click on “Programmes Menu”, then “Certificate Programmes”, and select “Apply Here”
- On the sign-up page, enter your details, create a username and password, then click Submit
- You will be taken to the Remita page. Generate your RRR code
- Print the RRR page and pay at any bank
- After payment, go back to the site. Click “Applicant Login” under Students’ Menu
- Log in with your username and password, fill out the application form, and print it
Bring the printed form, along with your RRR payment slip, to the interview or entrance test.

- Form sales start: 16th June 2025
- Deadline: 20th August 2025
- Late registration: 21st to 24th August 2025
Entrance and Interview
- Welding Test: Date will be shared later. You should arrive a day early to find your venue
- Diving Interview: PTI will announce the date soon. It will also take place on campus
