PUMS Post UTME Screening Form for 2025/2026 Admission

PAMO University of Medical Sciences (PUMS) is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year. Courses range from Nursing to Medicine, with a mandatory post-UTME screening starting 14th July. If you’re aiming to study at PUMS, now’s the time to act.

PUMS Admission Form 2025/2026: Now Open for Applications

PAMO University of Medical Sciences, Port Harcourt, has opened admissions into its undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 session. If you’re planning to study health or medical sciences, here’s what you need to know.

Courses Offered

Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (5 Years)

  • Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS)
  • Nursing Science (B.NSc)
  • Physiotherapy (B.PT)
  • Radiography & Radiation Science (B.Rad)

Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (4 Years)

  • Anatomy
  • Biochemistry
  • Pharmacology
  • Physiology
  • Human Nutrition & Dietetics

Faculty of Clinical Sciences (6 Years)

  • Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)

Who Is Eligible?

To apply, you must:

  • Have sat for the 2025 UTME and picked PUMS as your first choice
  • Score at least 170 in UTME for all courses except MBBS
  • For MBBS, you need 220 or higher
  • Have five credit passes in relevant subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Maths) in not more than two sittings
  • Upload your WAEC or NECO results to the JAMB CAPS portal

Even if PUMS wasn’t your first choice, you can still apply by changing your preferred school on the JAMB portal.

Candidates waiting for their SSCE results may also apply.

International Applicants

International candidates must follow JAMB guidelines for foreign admissions into Nigerian universities. It’s best to confirm eligibility early.

How to Apply

  1. Visit PUMS portal
  2. Enter your JAMB number and click “Check Eligibility”
  3. If your number is valid, the system redirects you to the application form
  4. Fill in your details, upload these documents:
    • O’Level result (WAEC or NECO)
    • Birth certificate or affidavit
    • Local government of origin letter
    • Reference or attestation letter
  5. Make payment of ₦10,000 by bank transfer or deposit (follow instructions on the portal)
  6. Upload proof of payment
  7. Submit your form and print the clearance slip

Application Deadline

The first phase of applications ends 6th July, 2025.

Post-UTME Screening Starts

All applicants must sit for the screening starting 14th July, 2025. No exceptions.
