Rivers State University has started Post-UTME registration for the 2025/2026 session. This post explains who is eligible, how to apply, and when the screening will take place. Read through to avoid missing key details.
Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has opened its Post-UTME screening registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you picked RSU as your first-choice school in the 2025 UTME, this is for you.
Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible if:
- You chose RSU as your first choice in JAMB
- You scored 190 or above in the 2025 UTME
- You have at least five O’level credits in subjects relevant to your course
- You’re either done with your results or waiting for them (but state clearly if you’re still waiting)
Only candidates who meet all the above can take part in the screening.
Application Process
To apply:
- Go to the RSU Post-UTME portal
- Pay using an Interswitch Verve-enabled card
- Complete the online form with correct personal and academic details
- Upload your O’level results
- Print your screening test slip after completing registration
Candidates are encouraged to register at the RSU ICT Centre for proper biometric verification. There’s also an online chat support on the portal if you get stuck.

- Registration opens: Monday, 14 July 2025
- Registration closes: Saturday, 16 August 2025
- Screening starts: Monday, 25 August 2025
- Venue: RSU ICT Centre
After registering, your test slip will show your exam date, time, and venue. Stick to that. If you miss it, you won’t get another chance. Latecomers won’t be allowed in.
And no, parents and guardians aren’t allowed near the venue.

Once the process is over, the list of successful candidates will be published on the RSU official website. So keep an eye on it.
