UNIABUJA Part-Time Degree Admission Form 2026/2027 Now Open

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is calling for applications into its face-to-face part-time degree programmes for the 2026/2027 session. The courses run under the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE). They’re designed for working-class adults or anyone needing a flexible learning path without fully stepping out of their daily commitments.

Let’s be honest, juggling work and school isn’t easy. But this setup gives you weekends to study, with lectures held physically. No guessing, no confusion.

Admission Requirements

You must meet one of the following:

  1. O’Level Route: Five credits including English and Maths, not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.)
  2. A-Level Route: Two A-Level passes with at least two O’Level credits in relevant subjects
  3. Direct Entry:
    • Four O’Level credits including English and Maths
    • Two A-Level passes, or
    • National Diploma (Upper Credit), or
    • IJMB with minimum 10 points, plus five O’Level credits

Study Duration and Setup

  • Courses run for four to five years, depending on your entry qualification
  • Weekend-only classes, held physically at the university
  • Best suited for those balancing jobs, businesses, or other duties

How to Apply

  1. Start with JAMB
    • Apply through the JAMB e-platform to get a valid registration number
    • You must appear on UNIABUJA’s CAPS dashboard
  2. Proceed to UNIABUJA CDL&CE portal
    • Go to cdlce.uniabuja.edu.ng
    • Click CLICK HERE TO APPLY to read instructions
    • Choose your mode: Face-to-Face or ODL (Online Distance Learning)
    • Click APPLY to begin
    • Fill in your personal details and create an account
  3. Payment
    • Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
    • Pay ₦20,000 via Remita (bank card or at any bank)
    • Bank charges not included
  4. Complete Application
    • After payment, an application number will be created
    • Use it with your surname to log in and finish the process

Application Fee

  • ₦20,000 only (excluding bank charges)
  • Must be paid in full at once

Deadline

  • Application closes on Tuesday, 30 September 2025
