UNIPORT Post UTME Form is Out for 2025/2026 Admission

UNIPORT has opened its Post-UTME screening for 2025 UTME candidates. If you chose the university as your first choice and scored at least 150, here’s how to register before 31 July.

Registration Now Open

The University of Port Harcourt is calling on candidates who made it their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 150 or above to apply for its Post-UTME screening. Registration runs from Friday, 11 July to Thursday, 31 July 2025. Miss the deadline, and you’re out.

Here’s a clear, step-by-step guide to help you register without stress.

How to Apply for UNIPORT Post-UTME

Step 1: Start Your Registration

Head to the UNIPORT UTME portal. Enter your UTME registration number to confirm your preloaded details.

Step 2: Make Payment

You’ll need to pay ₦2,000 for the form. There are two ways to go about it:

  • Pay online with a Verve, Visa or MasterCard by generating a Remita code.
  • Or print your payment slip and take it to any of these banks: Access Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity, First Bank, FCMB, UBA or UNIPORT-Choba Microfinance Bank.

Whichever route you take, make sure you collect a Remita receipt with your access code from the bank teller or payment portal.

Step 3: Log Back In

From Monday, 14 July, use your UTME number and the access code to confirm your payment and complete your application.

If you’re still waiting for your O’Level result, you can tick the appropriate option. Be honest.

When done, hit Submit and print your Registration Slip. You’ll need it later.

Things You Must Know

  • No late registration. After midnight on 31 July, the portal will close.
  • Keep an eye on the UNIPORT website for the screening schedule. It’ll be posted there, not sent by SMS.
  • Your name must match across all documents: UTME result, O’Level certificates and registration slip.
  • You must be 16 or older by September 2025 to apply.
  • Register online only. You don’t need to visit the campus.
  • If you picked UNIPORT as second choice, you must first switch it to first choice on the JAMB portal before applying.
  • Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS if you haven’t already. Otherwise, you’ll be dropped from consideration.
  • Use your own valid phone number and email during registration. That’s how they’ll contact you.
  • Devices like phones, iPads, or smartwatches won’t be allowed near the screening venue.
  • Parents and guardians aren’t permitted on campus during the test days.
