UNIZIK students must complete a fingerprint capture from 26 May to 25 June 2025. Each faculty has a specific day. Miss it, and you may be locked out of exams. Read on for full schedule and venues.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has made fingerprint capture compulsory for all students. It’s happening between 26 May and 25 June 2025. Miss your slot, and you could lose access to key campus services, including your CBT exams. Simple as that.
Where to Go
You’ll need to show up at one of these locations, depending on your campus:
- Awka Campus – MICTU (Software Factory)
- Nnewi Campus
- Okofia – Fragani Building
- NAUTH – E-Library Building
- Agulu Campus – Faculty Building
Be there by 9 am sharp. No excuses.
When to Show Up
Each faculty has its own day. Stick to it. No swapping around.
Mondays
- Agriculture
- Arts
- Pharmacy
Tuesdays
- Biosciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Health Sciences
Wednesdays
- Education
- Law
- Technology & Vocational Education
- Medical Lab Science
Thursdays
- Engineering
- Management
- Basic Medical Sciences
Fridays
- Social Sciences
- Physical Sciences
- Medicine
- Pharmacy
Yes, Pharmacy appears twice. If you’re in that faculty, best check with your department which day to go.
What to Bring (or Rather, What Not to Bring)
Clean hands. That’s it. No oil, no ink, no lotion. Anything on your skin might mess with the scan.
And don’t be late. This isn’t a drill. If you miss your day or show up unprepared, you risk being blocked from campus systems, especially CBT tests. Moving forward, fingerprint checks will be the key to access.
So, show up, get it done, and move on. It’s just one of those things every student has to do.
