Suspected bandits launched a deadly attack on Wednesday night in the Zagami community, located in Yankara Ward, Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing several residents and abducting numerous others, including women and children. According to a post on Thursday by security analyst Bakatsine on X, the assailants stormed the village around 8pm and opened fire indiscriminately. Tragically, a three-day-old baby was reportedly k!lled during the raid, while the infant’s mother was abducted by the attackers.
