Born on July 21, 1956, into the esteemed Akeredolu family, young Rotimi inherited a spirit of determination from his parents, Reverend J. Ola Akeredolu and Lady Evangelist Grace B. Akeredolu. His educational odyssey began at Government Primary School in Owo, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. With each step of his academic journey, from Aquinas College to the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Akeredolu’s thirst for knowledge and justice grew, culminating in his graduation with a degree in Law in 1977.
